North Dakota Tourism’s virtual contest celebrates N.D.’s legendary adventures and Tourism Week

Travel North Dakota…IMRU? contest offers chance to win a North Dakota vacation package

Bismarck, N.D. – Travelers, residents and fans of North Dakota who share videos or stories with photos of their Legendary North Dakota adventures May 8-16 can win a week-long North Dakota vacation.

The Travel North Dakota. .. . . IMRU? contest, sponsored by North Dakota Tourism, is part of North Dakota Tourism Week. The contest is open to anyone that would like to share their Legendary North Dakota adventures by submitting videos or stories with photos on the Web site, RULegendary.com.

All entries received May 8-16 will be entered for a drawing to win the new North Dakota Trail of Legends tour package.

The all-inclusive, seven-day package offers a comprehensive, guided tour of some of the most magnificent sights in western North Dakota. The tour begins in Williston, continues to Theodore Roosevelt National State Park, on to the Bismarck/Washburn area, then to New Town and finishes back in Williston.

“As travelers plan their vacations, they like to hear about other people’s experiences and find out what there is to see and do,” said Sara Otte Coleman, director of North Dakota Tourism. “Many people have had Legendary experiences while traveling throughout North Dakota, and our RULegendary Web site is the place travelers can go to hear first-hand about what makes North Dakota adventures so memorable.”

RU Legendary and the Travel North Dakota. .. . IMRU? contest is an extension of North Dakota Tourism’s I am Legendary. RU? advertising campaign theme. Otte Coleman adds, “RU Legendary and the Travel North Dakota. . . IMRU? contest personalize the experiences found in North Dakota and allow travelers to wear their experiences like a badge of distinction.”
