Kathy Anderson, Director of Administration of Trollwood Performing Arts School (TPAS) has been selected to be TPAS Interim Executive Director. She fills the position which will be vacated on February 28th, 2010, by the retirement of TPAS Co-Founder/Executive Director, Vicki Chepulis.
Anderson is responsible for establishing the 2010 TPAS budget, programs, staffing and operations, and will lead the organization through its second year at the new south Moorhead TPAS campus.
Her transition into the new role, working with Chepulis and Fargo School officials, begins immediately.
Kathy began her arts management career as an intern at TPAS in 1990, and has held several positions of ever increasing responsibility at Trollwood since that time. She has held her current position as Director of Administration since 2005. Kathy also served as Executive Director of Bonanzaville/Cass County Historical Society from 1997-2000, and as Senior Technical Lead at Microsoft from 2001-2005. She is a graduate of MSUM, with a major in Music Industry.
Kathy lives in south Moorhead with her husband, Jim, and her 10-year-old daughter, Jessica.
Trollwood Performing Arts School is a program of the Fargo Public Schools founded in 1978 and dedicated to the mission “…to inspire those we serve through the arts to realize their full potential and be a positive influence in the global community.”
